James J. OBryant James J. OBryant, 87 of Muscle Shoals, Ala., passed away Friday. March 7, 2014. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of Faith Church. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday March 10, 2014, at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Rev. Henry Melton and Tommy OBryant officiating. Burial will follow at Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Ruth OBryant; parents, Little Tom and Lillian Pearl OBryant; brothers, J.D. and Robert OBryant; sister, Lila Gallien. Survivors include his son, James Anthony OBryant; daughter, Myra OBryant Patton (Kenneth Ray); brother, Tommy OBryant; sisters, Earline Givens, Glenda Smith, Margaret Abston and Doris Chambers; grandchildren, Kenneth Todd Patton and Trenton Ray Patton; great-grandchildren, Chandler, Bryson, Brea and Chase Patton. Pallbearers will be Donny Blackstock, Wesley Willis, Johnny Blackstock, Kerry Givens, Michael Gallian and Todd Patton. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Randy Pounders and the doctors, nurses and staff at ECM Hospital.
