Open your mind to the learning offered but continue to embrace your culture and remember what it means to be an Indian. Learn about your language and culture. If you have political and leadership ambitions learn all there is to know about Treaties including Peace and Friendship treaties, the Royal Proclamation, the Doctrine of Discovery, our place in the Constitution, resource development and revenue sharing, forms of self - government, good governance including things like accountability, transparency, conflict of interest, leadership and other human relations policies. Remember our role as stewards of Mother Earth and our responsibility to nurture and protect future generations. You are already undertaking that later role by serving as an important role model for future generations. Much success with your studies and may the creator guide you down the Red Road as you position yourself for the future and our future! Godspeed!!
