Jammu: Suspected militants attacked the Hiranagar police station in Kathua district early this morning killing seven people, including five policemen. According to the reports there had been around three to five attackers who had arrived at the station early morning and opened fire, killing five policemen and two civilians. The militants had escaped in a truck that had been parked outside the station. The truck is now believed to have reached an army brigade camp in Samba, where there is a heavy encounter on. Army men are believed to be injured. Further details are awaited.
