Jane Prissel Winter I was going to send this in an email but I think it might be nice to share this with everyone. My friend Bridgette Hunter has a son with a complicated difficult case of Diabetes. Her son was in a dangerous time of his illness when she decided to take the step to get him a diabetic alert dog. She knew if would save his life, maybe more than once. We sold diabetes awareness bracelets and there was a fund raiser. I shared the go fund me account and shortly after I received a message from Bridgette asking me to thank my friend for donating. She was very touched by the kindness. I said well Im not sure who it was. She sent me Jennas name. I told Jenna thank you so much for donating and told her Bridgette was very touched and grateful. Jennas response was that she was sorry she couldnt donate more. What a sweatheart. Jenna did not even know this boy and it was important to her to help. Bridgette recently sent me an extremely touching text and I want to share this with you Jane and everyone else: Hey! I wanted to tell you I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. My heart aches for you and everyone fortunate to have Jenna in their life. Though Devan and I do not know her, we know her name. We will always know her name, for she was important to us. Despite the fact she did not know us personally she had a kind enough heart to be the first person to donate to The Super Sweet Life Training Fund for my Devan and his much needed Diabetic Alert Service Dog. It meant a lot to me that day to wake up and see there was a perfect stranger jumping aboard and helping me keep my son safe. Of all the people we know and love, it was the kindness of a perfect stranger who was first to help us. Words could never express my feelings that morning. May her kindness live on through her loved ones and friends. Hugs and love to you, Ali ❤ Thank you beyond words for sending this to me Bridgette. It gives me chills every time I read it. Kindness is contagious and it shows other the way to do the same. It inspires others to pay it forward creating a ripple effect of positivity. I am so fortunate to be surrounded by wonderful people. Even though Jenna is no longer with us physically she left her mark. She inspired people to give others the benefit of the doubt and to be kind. We will all forever be better people for knowing Miss Jenna. She lives through us. Through our kind gestures and smiles. A little part of her will stay with us always
