*** Jane Wayne Day (Virtual) FAQs *** Weve been getting some questions about the Wolfpacks JWD. Hopefully this will help: 1) Why are we doing a virtual instead of a real (actually go to the field) JWD? 1A) This is the date we were able to find that fit the units training schedule and being in August, its HOT and would also mean that no children (or pregnant ladies) would be allowed. The other major factor is cost ~ JWDs are funded out of the Battalions training budget. Gas, transport, personnel, bullets and other ammo, are NOT cheap and one JWD can easily cost as much or more than a regular Companys field training exercise. 2) What should we wear? 2A) Wear closed toed shoes. Pants and t-shirts are recommended, if you want to wear your Marine or Sailors cammies by all means, go for it. You are going to be lying on a floor for some of the simulation scenarios so be prepared!
