January 10, 2015: Theresa has officially been released by her cardio thoracic surgeon Dr Stewart (final picture in coat)! He did a damn good job, took the EDS seriously, and provided excellent care for T. Highly recommend him! Kim is Dr Stewarts NP and she is amazing!! Could not have made it through this without Kim and Debbie. Dr Lyden, Theresas vascular surgeon, confirmed she has Horners Syndrome and said she looks awesome! She needs to see him again during Christmas Break, but she has been cleared to return to normal activity as tolerated. This team is amazing!! Highly highly recommended by our family!!! Erin and Drew hung out today and made an amazing dinner for the family. Katy had indoor winds practice and helped with dinner. Im fighting a virus. Thought it was strep but its not. Kind of stinks because if it was strep there would be something I could do about it. Ive been fighting it for more than a week but the past four days its been worse. Hoping rest, tea and a vaporizer will help. Thank you AS for helping us today. Couldnt do it without you!!
