His 1971 IT AINT EASY would have seemed to have been a cant miss hit with one side produced by Elton John and the other side produced by Rod Stewart whose careers were exploding at the time and would seem to have had sufficient coattails to draw attention to the album. One song from the album did get decent airplay briefly on rock stations, Dont Try to Lay No Boogie Woogie on the King of Rock & Roll.
