Janus Airways was a small charter airline set up by Hards Travel in 1982. Operations were started from Lydd airport on January 2, 1983 with Vickers Viscount and H.P. Herald. The latter type is herewith reproduced in this uncommon postcard issued by Judges Ltd. (coded C7605X) on the airline behalf. Mixed fortunes marked Janus career until it suspended operations on August 7, 1986. The assets were taken over by Euroair in the course of the following year.
