Japan: The Beautiful People I totally agree with her. Japanese people are lovely and always treat me extremely well. You have to watch her whole video though and not just the title to catch her point. I know that some people may have different experiences here in Japan, but I have lived in Japan and can clearly say that I have not experienced any racism here whatsoever. The people here in Japan have been so hospitable and kind. I am treated here very well by everyone from strangers to close friends. I have never had any issues with any family of anyone I have dated, and that includes a whole array of people. In fact, the families, parents, and grandparents that I have met (those of the Aoyama Superstar, Zoom, etc.) have welcomed me like a family member. The truth is being a foreigner has actually spoiled me in Japan. There are more positives than negatives. Sure, every country has some degree of discrimination and racism, but that in Japan from MY experience has been near ZERO. You might find signs or different things online that will tell you otherwise, but I can really confirm what she is saying and assure you that you will love it here regardless of your color. There are no divisive politics either in Japan because most people here couldnt care less about which party a person is affiliated with unlike Americans, who are obsessed with politics and spend most of their waking hours trying to slam and denigrate the other party. Japan is peaceful and freer than America in that aspect. Sorry if you disagree with me, but I can only speak from my experience living here for 16 years. The people here are so wonderful, and I cannot imagine living anywhere else. ^^
