Japan support Ghana’s effort at human resource development • The government of Japan has offered Ghana a ¥ 120 million grant • The grant is to support Ghanaian students to further their education in Japan. • The grant formed part of the bilateral cooperation between the two countries regarding the development of human resource capacity. • The grant will also be targeted at young graduates to help to formulate and implement social and economic development plans. • The grant would support promising young Ghanaians with scholarships to obtain Masters Degrees at Japanese University. • This will help them acquire expert knowledge to help to solve practical problems facing the country.
