Jargon is the language and or vocabulary that deals with a particular trade, profession, or a group. Christians have their own jargon, and if you are not familiar with Christianity, the Bible, biblical words, and or phrases, this sometimes can be rather confusing. There are also Christians who have been going to church their entire lives and often find it difficult to appreciate how confusing Christian jargon can be for a new Christian. If you happen to be someone who has not been brought up with a Christian vocabulary, or are new to the faith, we have made a list of words and phrases on our website with definitions that may help you in the beginning stages with your walk with Christ and fellowship with other believers, so you may have an idea what they are talking about if you hear the word come up. Keep in mind that this list is not comprehensive, but it is in alphabetical order for easy navigation use. Although we may have different views on what each word means, these are basic guidelines for an understanding if you have heard the word, and were not sure what it meant.
