Jason and I had a chance to visit a local Santa Clara Bee keepers backyard. After a month or so, theres lots of honey to harvest. I had a very rare opportunity to see a queen bee! Its in the first photo. Can you spot it? The second photo is me being very well protected. I did not get stung even though I was so close, and mistakenly, in their gathering path which is right next to their hive entrance (white box). I did have one been come up my pant legs but it was gently brushed off. I hardly noticed the sensation except for a slight crawling sensation.
