The Spain internationalsuffered a torn ACL in his left knee during the German Super Cup in Dortmundearlier this month and will consequently be sidelined for the remainder of 2014. Nevertheless, he is now ready to take the next step in his recovery after his successful operation. Javi Martinez will today return to Germany from the USA. The holding midfielders injury prompted Bayern to add two more players to their squad last week, with Mehdi Benatia and Xabi Alonso leaving Roma and Real Madrid respectively for the Bundesliga champions.
