Javier Hernandez will remain at Manchester United -- despite interest from one of the world’s major clubs. • Payne: Not entertainment • Deadline Day Chat Hernandez, 25, who has recently been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Valencia, has scored in his last two appearances for United, but appears to be David Moyes’ fourth-choice striker, after Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck. And the Mexico international’s agent, Eduardo Hernandez, claims his client is wanted by six clubs from Spain, Italy, France and Germany, including one global superpower. He told ESPN Deportes: I had meetings with a few clubs, I wont name them, nor their offers, they are very interested in him. One of the top 10 teams in the world are among those teams that were very interested in signing Javier. There was a club from Germany, one from France, and two from Spain and Italy each that want to have him. However, he is under contract with Man United and he somehow has to respect it in case there is an agreement between the parties. Hernandez joined United from Guadalajara in 2010 and has scored 57 goals for the club since then. However, his agent said he is unsure whether the striker, who has only started four league games this season, will still be at Old Trafford next term. He added: I couldnt say that for sure, football is dynamic and his current situation could change tomorrow, so there are clubs that are interested, that like him a lot and trust him to succeed. He has achieved a high value in Europes market and I cant say that there wont be anything concrete after the next six months. However, we do hope he gets minutes [on the pitch].
