In order to be benefited from the high growth economy of her neighbors, Nepal needs a stable political regime and enlightened policy framework. The weak governance in Nepal is greatest obstacle for economic growth and Development. The era of Aid is gone. It creates a aid dependence syndrome. Nepal needs a massive foreign direct investment for its over all development. Nepal needs a broad based and inclusive economic growth for peace and stability. Nepal must be able to generate massive employment to sustain the democratization. -It is positive development that despite a border dispute between India and China both are becoming the largest trading partners. - The stable, prosperous and strong Nepal is in the interest of both India and China. - There is no alternative to dialogue in diplomacy.
