Jay Call posted: I am a fairly new CST. So I still question allot of things. Could you clarify for me the rules for counting. Our facility is saying there is no need to count when you give a break and/or lunch break because the original CST will be returning to the room. I have issues with this. I was trained that you counted EVERY time, the CST staff changed, even if the original CST was returning to the room. I really need hard fast rules on this before I talk to management.
