Jay-Z is supposed to be the Greatest of All-Time. He’s supposed to be the guy that everyone else copies, not the other way around. With stolen lines from Kurt Cobain, Michael Stipe, and Q-Tip - along with the fact that he only raps on half of his own album - it’s becoming increasingly harder to call Jay-Z “original" anymore. I mean, the guy even admitted to using Rick Rubin as a prop for his series of trailers for the album following Kanye’s recent success with Yeezus.
