Jeepers, hopefully everyone that is a part of this community group knows who we are and what this club stands for. It has come to our attention that there is some really nasty gossip/rumors going around that are very hurtful and damaging not only to us personally but also to the whole group. First of all I would like to say that my character as a God loving man is very important to me. I work hard to represent Christs love and what His Word commands us to do... Serve and care for others. These things are being questioned and attacked. Recently questions have been raised by numerous people regarding what Georgia Jeepers does with money donated to the club or profit in sales of stickers and clothing. It seems the rumors are accusing us of stealing from our own club along with slanderous remarks about us as the founders of the club as individuals. I feel its necessary to bring this to the clubs attention to be honest and open with all of our members. We have no reason to hide anything and would welcome anyone that has any questions to contact us. Every penny that the club recieves goes towards either the purchase of more T-shirts and stickers, the upkeep of our website, or dontions to different charities depending on the event. For example; All money recieved in the Monroe Christmas parade went to Walton County DFACS to support the orphans and give to help them towards Christmas, Or this past parade in Sugar Hill all money that was collected by the few jeeps that participated is supporting the citys Fire and EMS sevices. We would never take money for our own use and it hurts to know that individuals are so malicious that they would lie about it. We love and pray for everyone in this club and want nothing more than to be a light of good. Relationships and friendships have been damaged within the group because on this. We know that jealousy and a persons misery with their own life is what 9 times out of 10 is the reason a person tries to make others mirserable. Of course it makes us angry and it definitely hurts, but we just continue to focus on the truth and follow the path the God has set before us. We are beyond blessed by the people we have met and call family through this group. We do ask that if you hear anything that causes you to question anything we do as a group, to please bring it to our attention so that we can be allowed to set things straight and give you peace of mind. We do not promote gossip of any kind and we are the types of people to be very open and forthright with others...we want no problems with anyone. Thank you all for your friendships and support.
