Jeesh, some of these comments on here are written by people who do not see the big picture. This is not a law to excuse speeders, it is a law that is designed to keep the traffic moving, limit road rage, and keep the passing lane open for emergency vehicles to quickly respond to incidents. People do not understand that they could also be considered road hazards even if they are driving the speed limit. Also, it is not the average motorists job to stop speeders, it is the job of law enforcement (hence the name law enforcement), so dont try to take a stand against speeders by driving the speed limit in the passing lane, because all that youre going to accomplish is pissing off the drivers behind you, which increases the likelihood of causing a serious accident. Which means that your noble cause of slowing down drivers was counterproductive, and made things a whole lot worse. Let the police handle speeders, and dont turn yourself into a hazard.
