Jeff had taken today off to add to the long weekend, so he offered to take Joe to radiation (and the lab) today. Wonder if hell meet Walt and Thelma. :) Joe got a nice mic for his birthday and he is back in his studio (our living room) mixing some previously recorded songs, recording the family just for fun, and teaching Anna how to use Logic Pro (Apples music production system). I cant tell you how encouraging it is to see him back at it. He has been saying his head feels blocked, with pressure in his ears and eyes. But he also says its been going on for a long time. He also has a bit of swelling in the back of his head. Well mention it tomorrow when we see the oncologist for his two-week check. The knee and shoulder pain seems to have lessened considerably. The last time I spoke with Dr. Botas nurse she said they would probably schedule Joes first Avastin infusion for tomorrow (9/3). But they havent confirmed since then, so I dont know whether or not he will start that tomorrow. Ill keep you posted. So it may be a long day for Joe with radiation in the morning, UCI doctor visit at 12:30, then a 90-minute infusion. Please pray for energy, no pain or nausea, and effectiveness of the treatment. And as always, complete healing. Thank you so much.
