Jefferson wrote on religion frequently. His advise to his nephew is good for anyone. Question, then decide whether to believe. There are so many beliefs and non-beliefs in this world, each claiming to have the answers. They cant all be right. But we can respect an individuals right their beliefs without imposing our own. This is especially important in government. Everyone, rich or poor, in this country has access to a private place of worship, whether it be a cathedral or a campfire. At some point we will mature enough, as a society, that groups like Freedom From Religion will be unnecessary.
