Jeffrey Herlings of the Red Bull KTM Factory Team has just become a Dutch Champion at the penultimate round of the Open Dutch Championship MX2 in Markelo. The rider from Elsendorp won both motos convincingly but was just not enough points as to whether they can be. Crowned Dutch Champion The circuit of Markelo was driven in the opposite direction and this was totally new to Jeffrey. In the training he took his time to take the job in itself, and when he felt familiar, he set to turn. Rapid fastest time For a moment he stood on the fastest time but in the closing stages as he dropped back to second place. Reason enough for Jeffrey to turn again. His last attempt was perfect and he moved up to the fastest time. No rider still managed to improve so he could start in both motos. From pole position time of Jeffrey In the first moto Jeffrey did not come off well at the start and had several riders in front of him. In the beginning he watched the cat out of the tree and followed the leading group. One after the other driver was a place referred back and so did Jeffrey after a few laps the lead in the race to participate in hands. In the rest of the race remained Jeffrey keep the pace high and built in the second part of the race a safe lead. After looking at a final stage, he was flagged as the winner of the first race.
