Jen – please inform the students volunteers of the start time for when they need to report each day. Volunteers should arrive on time & dressed appropriately. Unless you’re needed somewhere else, I would like it if you would oversee all volunteers during orientation -making sure everyone is where they’re supposed to be, switching out volunteers if someone needs a break, & on freshmen day – making sure they’re in the designated are & available for tours. Last year, a couple of times, no one was in the gym lobby (schedule area) when a parent or student arrived. Definitely need to make sure that area stays covered. No more than 4 students at the schedule table and always at least one there from start to finish. Jenn - The following number of volunteers are needed each day in these areas: schedules/gym lobby 3 to 4 max; cashiers (for line control & making sure they’ve complete an order form) 2 max; lockers (w/ Marta) 2 max; ID’s need 2 max; bookroom; 6 & anyone leftover can help with tours etc. • MONDAY, AUGUST 12th Volunteers for senior orientation report to the gym no later than 8:30 am – check in w/ Mrs. Camp for assignment Seniors: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM 45 mins break for lunch (lunch on your own) if staying for junior orientation Juniors: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM Volunteers for junior orientation report to the gym no later than 11:30 am – check in w/ Mrs. Camp for assignment ***************** • TUESDAY, AUGUST 13th *volunteers for sophomore orientation report to the gym no later than 9:30 am – check in w/ Mrs. Camp for assignments Sophomores LAST NAME begins with: A – C 10:00 – 11:00 AM D – L 11:00 – 12:00 AM M – R 12:00 – 1:00 AM S – Z 1:00 – 2:00 PM ************** • WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14TH *need at least 5 volunteers to arrive by 7:15 am & report to the gym first for instructions. 7:30 the 5 volunteers move to the auditorium to greet the first group of freshmen & their parents.
