~Jennifer here~ I cant believe our Equitana experience is drawing to a close tomorrow. We have had the most wonderful experience and have been welcomed by so many Equitana Officials, Exhibitors and the general public. We have met so many of our supporters, and it has been great to put a face to a name. Im humbled by the amount of people who have come up to talk to us all, hug us, and know every one of our horses. Its amazing to see how many people also love our horses, and our work. The Volunteers brought down to Equitana have been nothing short of incredible. We are a very strong team and have loved spending time together here in Melbourne, but at the same time we are so appreciative of the Volunteers left in Queensland who have been looking after all the rescue horses. Its been wonderful to meet so many horse companies, especially the ones who support SAHA such as Olympic Trailers Adelaide & Proteq Equine Bedding. Amanda has worked non stop since she arrived, and has spent many hours in the office saving horses, re homing horses, and helping people with sick horses. Her work never stops, not even for Equitana, and her phone has not stopped ringing. Bates Saddles Australia & Horseland Gold Coast have been such an amazing support with the donation of our beautiful Isabell Werth Dressage Saddle valued at $3,495. We have sold many raffle tickets for the saddle, as well as lots of tickets in the Super Scooper and we thank these companies for giving us such generous donations to raffle. To every one of you who have come up to our stand and talked to us, thank you for making our Equitana experience so enjoyable. But most of all, thanks so much to Equitana for choosing Save A Horse Australia as their official Charity of Choice. We are honoured to have been selected for such an amazing event and we have certainly made the most of our time there. Thanks everyone !
