Jennings, Strouss & Salmon seeks an associate FERC attorney to join its Energy Practice Group in Washington, DC. Requirements include 4 to 6 years of practice before FERC, knowledge of federal electric regulatory law, and experience with FERC’s pro forma open access transmission tariff, major FERC electric orders and regulations, organized wholesale electricity markets, and the standard form generator interconnection procedures and agreements. FERC litigation experience and experience with the Dodd-Frank Act and CFTC regulations are a plus. Excellent research and writing skills are a must.
