Jeremiah 1:17 -Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. We should never be embarrassed about our beginnings, Jeremiah was... He begins his Book with listings of good and bad people in his background. The thing is, we all come from a less than perfect gene pool. So, what should we do? For me, I have decided to look at those whove done it the right way as well as those whove done it the wrong way, because I can learn from both. We can learn by discovering the purpose God has put us here and fulfilling it. Then, trying to keep the torch burning brightly and if possible handing it over to the next runner. As Christians we ought to watch what we say, the words we speak not only influence others but ourselves too. Hmm. When Jeremiah complained that he wasnt the right age or a gifted speaker, God said, Dont say that! Instead He fortified and made a promise to him. See Jer 1:17-19. Furthermore, God didnt just promise to be with Jeremiah.....He promised to be with us too. Get Ready!!!!!! Happy Sunday ALL and a fabulous work week ahead. Love, light and peace.
