Jeremiah 15:16 Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts. When the fishermen were called by Jesus, they followed Him. When Samuel was called by the Lord, he answered at the instruction of Eli. When Paul encountered Christ on the Damascus Road, he fell on his face, and His life changed forever. Here we have Jeremiah, referencing the moment when the Lords words came to him. The words used to describe how Jeremiah feels about the Lords words are delight, joy, and rejoicing. Jeremiah knows that his worth is in God alone - and so must we. Biblical self-worth can generate a spring of life that beautifully articulates the gospel. Verse/Commentary courtesy of Verse-A-Day app. verse-a-day/Apps
