Jerry Brown likes to brag about how, since (actually illegally) - TopicsExpress

Jerry Brown likes to brag about how, since (actually illegally) being elected California’s Governor in 2010 he has managed to get our state out of financial debt and ruin. I believe being the state with the highest sales tax (7.5% - thank you Jerry) it is we the people who have helped to get the state out of debt. The unemployment rate has dropped from 12.4% in 09-2010 to currently 7.3% but is that because the people have acquired employment or are no longer on unemployment based on time limits? Seems there are still a lot of legal citizens looking for work. Also on 09/25/2014 he passed SB 1053 (Mitchell). Health care coverage: contraceptives. Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) requires those plans and issuers to provide coverage without cost sharing for all federal Food and Drug Administration approved contraceptive methods, sterilization procedures, and patient education and counseling for all women with reproductive capacity, as prescribed by a provider, except as specified. This means all birth control which includes vasectomies, contraception’s without restrictions, delays or out of pocket cost. This is what we the people have to foot the bill for. Also, he passed AB2444 which prohibits display or sale of merchandize marked with a Confederate flag. That should be a violation of our rights. Not sure when this one was rejected (don’ have bill#) but it would limit the ability of the state to seize assets from the estates of Medi-Cal recipients. Currently the state can recover a broad array if costs and assets including homes from Medi-Cal recipients 55 and older after they die. I have mixed feelings about this because there are a number of people who take advantage of Medicaid who should not be on it. But there are also people who really need it and, after death, the state would confiscate all their assets and leave nothing to any children they might have. While he is doing all this that already cost us taxpayers he still wants to get his 68 billion dollar high speed rail up and running. A major waste of taxpayer dollars but his personal legacy. The only seemingly good he wants to do is commit 7.5 billion dollars to the water infrastructure project which also comes with a 25 billion dollar companion plan. So Californians, do we want Jerry Brown in office another four years? This is his last opportunity to rule and reign California. I have an idea that if re-elected he is really going to put a major hurting on “we the people”.
