Jessica Adam Redonda Heather Melinda Katie and all spouses and cousins I cant tag: I will see you all shortly but probably wont have enough composure to say anything helpful. This family is amzing. You guys came to every birthday party of mine when I was young and every major event of my life. I cannot begin to describe what I am feeling. I feel a hole. Similar to when we lost my dad. Eric and Matt were the first to tell me about dads accident. There are too many memories to even begin to list. Every Christmas through college we had the poker parties.. I will treasure these memories forever. It doesnt get easier with time. The hole is left in your heart forever. The only thing I can say is that the more you lean on Christ, and understand that Eric is now tucked safely in Gods arms, it becomes easier to talk about what an amazing time you had together with the ones you lost without being an emotional wreck. I have no doubt in my mind that this family will bond together as we did before and surround you with love and support. And know this. Each and every one of us are saved through the power of Jesus and that means that one day, we will get to embrace our brother Eric again. And what a glorious day that will be. There is hope for the hopeless, there is rest for the weary. And we will have the opportunity to ask God why. In the meantime we just have to bare the heartache. Its been almost 17 years since dad died, and every time I call my son by his name, I think about it. And since hes three, thats alot. My love for all of you is unlike any other. I only hope you know. Hugs and prayers for this family will be many and they will help. There are no words to make it better, but we will have people who try... and for that we will respond with love. Its what you do. It feels like a nightmare I keep waking up to every day. See you all tomorrow.
