Jesus Christ is a universal LOVE and we followers of His teachings - TopicsExpress

Jesus Christ is a universal LOVE and we followers of His teachings and His way are called Christians. This is bigger than big itself, very very huge that is why Jesus’s teachings has a lot of universal principles that are effective to both believers and none believers like LOVE (1Corinthians 13:4-8), not to judge (Luke 6:37), to give (Luke 6:38), to be grateful (1Thessalonians 16-18), not to worry (Philippians 4:6-7), just to mention a few. And as Christians we are still learning and growing into those principles and we call them (Kingdom Principles). When we got born again our spirit got born again and our old body/flesh remained old. This mean we don’t automatically turn perfect. As we grow into Christianity we have instances of making mistakes, have errors of judgements and so forth (Proverbs 24: 16 “For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity”.) from verse 17 there is a warning which I am certain non-believers will not even heed because the scriptures say “the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing….. Now when a Christians stumbles, and even falls religious people, atheists, and other people even Christians take up the arms to attack. Criticism is labelled against Christianity as a whole and need I say those particular incidences will now be taken as a yard stick on what and how Christianity is. Now don’t get me wrong, I am not condoning those who take advantage of people and situations in the name of Christianity, no I don’t and I won’t, so help me God and if I have scales on my eyes I pray to God to remove them so that I can see clearly. So being said what I needed to say, I have a personal statement that says… Mr and Mrs I Attack, while you are busy attacking me, I run to Him under the shadow of His wings (Psalms 91:4). While you criticise me, I petition my repentance to Him and ask Him not to lead me not into temptations and deliver me from evil and if I may say, ask Him to also bless you. While you are busy scrutinizing my shortfalls, I sing to the Lord “More love, more power, more of You in my life… I will worship You with all of my heart, I will worship You all of my mind, I will worship You with all of my strength ‘cause you are my Lord”. You see Jesus Christ is big and Apostle Paul said we run a race and anyone who has watched the proceeding of a race will know that is not always smooth sailing, some races have huddles, some roads are steep, some roads decline, some are curvy…. And you can condemn all you want because apparently it’s called being observant but as I come into agreement with the Saints about what the word of God is saying about us as follows: (ROMANS 8: 1 – 19) 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. Now that was not a sermon, I was just saying….. *…And that is Kingdom Citizenship*
