Jesus Christ you are our great High Priest in heaven. I ask now that you will bless this country in which I live. Help those whose task is to root out crime and corruption to pursue wrongdoing with dedication and determination. Expose to the light of day all the evik that is done behind closed doors. Create a spirit of willingness to leave the problems of the past behind and generate a desire to move forward with bew goals and new purpose. Protect little children, especially those who are being abused and hurt and neglected. Let those who are hungry find food. Let those who are homeless find shelter. Help those who have no hope to find a future to believe in and look forward to. Now Lord I pray that you will guide me in all the decisions I have to make, fill me with enthusiasm for the things that are important and give me wisdom wherever I have to exercise my judgment. Help me to be compassionate and understanding, thoughtful and sensitive. And Lord help me to care, I ask it in Christ`s name Amen
