Jesus Had A Devil? The people answered and said, You have a devil: who goes about to kill you? - Jn 7:20. > When Jesus healed a man on the Sabbath day and called God His Father; The Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. At a time Jesus would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him (Jn 5:18; 7:1). Yet when Jesus asked them Why go you about to kill me? The people answered and said, You have a devil: who goes about to kill you? (Jn 7:19-20). * Jesus hasnt changed (Heb 13:8), and the religious people are same today as in those days (Jn 16:2-3). Disagree with their doctrines, constitutions, formula or religious belief they call you devil or all sorts of names in their book and even threaten to kill you. If Jesus could not please the religious people of His time, never you think for a moment they will be pleased with you telling them the truth (Jn 15:20-21). * Here what they called Jesus again when He mentioned Abraham, Then said the Jews to him, Now we know that you have a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and you say, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. Are you greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom make you yourself? - Jn 8:52-53. > Can you imagine their certainty now we know that Jesus had a devil? These speak boldly against what they have no clue of. They called a man antiChrist, false teacher, false preacher, deceiver, impostor, end time false Christ, hungry pastor or heretic because they dont understand what he or she is saying. The Truth sounds to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which said, By hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive: For this peoples heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them (Read Matt 13:10-15). * Again when Jesus spoke about being the good Shepherd and received commandment from God His Father; There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings. And many of them said, He has a devil, and is mad; why hear you him? Others said, These are not the words of him that has a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind? - Jn 10:19-21. > Theres always a division among the religious people about the Truth. Some of them judge the truth with biased mind and some as an abstract. They think it is true but cant let go of their tradition for it; Well has Isaiah prophesied of them hypocrites, as it is written, This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. However, in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, they hold the tradition of men, as the christmas, easter, tithes: and many other such like things they do. Making the word of God of none effect in their lives through their tradition, which they have delivered: and many such like things do they (Read Mk 7:1-13). + Note: I will never call another minister foul names because I disagree with him or her on the observing old law under the new testament, religion, belief, future events, ministry, church administration, issues of life and sin. My duty is to try harder to explain the Truth to them with the help of the Holy Spirit. I also quit explaining only when the person start insulting or attacking me as a fool. If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing.- 2Cor 4:3. > We ought to be reasoning together, not fighting each other at any argument about God and the Bible. > I dont force people to listen to the truth I teach since Jesus says, In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”- Jn 18:37. * Do not be quick to label who you dont know simply because you dont understand what s/he is teaching. Jesus says, Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.- Jn 7:24. Dont join those who easily call people names without thorough search. Search or study more to find and know the truth for yourself after hearing (Read Acts 17:11). Never listen to those who discourages you from growing in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen! Many of the Jews said that same thing about Jesus, He has a devil, and is mad; why hear you him? Others said, No, He deceives the people.” - Jn 7:12. I AM WHAT I AM BY THE GRACE OF GOD! - 1Cor 15:10.
