Jesus also said this, “except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:3,5) Repent means to “turn around”, to change your direction from following sin, and come to put your trust in Jesus Christ to save you from your sins. 1 Peter 2:24 says, Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. Jesus had never committed sin. He came to the earth for the purpose giving His very life as a sacrifice for our sins. The Bible calls this the atonement (Romans 5:11). It means simply that His death and suffering are a worthy substitute for the eternal punishment that we deserve. And that means you. Call me if I can help
