Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.”-John 18 We are merely in transit here in this world. No matter what happens to us our eyes stay fixed onto the author and finisher of our faith: Jesus Christ. What matters most is that we arrive at our destination having lived a life pleasing to Him and that we have told as many people about the saving power of Jesus Christ as we can along the way. To be popular, powerful or wealthy is a false goal for His kingdom is not of earthly things, not of this world.-Pas. Chris
