Jesus did not die from the beatings we put on Him. It was not the spikes we drove in his hands and feet that took His life either. Nor was it when we all thrust the spear into His side that took His life. No, it was His love for us that took His life. He took the cross, the pain and death that was what we were supposed to endure. That brothers and sisters is unconditional love. He did it already knowing that many would not appreciate what He did for us all but He did it anyway. That is how we should be. After all we were created in His image.
