Jesus does not want forced labor. He doesnt even want forced behavior. He wants to come inside of us & make us like Him, so that we will want & desire what He wants & desires. He ultimately wants all of our behavior to originate exclusively out of the divine love, light & life that He put in us by His Spirit. He wants inward heart change & transformation that is so dramatic it cannot be concealed or hidden. The Apostle Paul knew something of being compelled by Gods grace to do His will. Notice what he says... For Christs love compels us... (2Corinthians 5:14). The Weymouth translation says... For the love of Christ overmasters us.... Jesus does not want to run for president or be your earthly King. So Jesus, perceiving that they were intending to come and take Him by force to make Him king, withdrew again to the mountain by Himself alone (John 6:15). Jesus wants to get inside of us & transform us with His divine nature. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him (John 6:56). Communion is all about love, intimacy, & an intermingling of two lives becoming one. You need not worry. When His life comes into ours, His life will always prevail!
