Jesus gave the desciples power to heal the sick,feed the poor and raise the dead. No where do i read in the Gospels where it should be about ourselves. He said seek the kingdom of God and its righteousness and those things will be added. It makes it clear not to worry about anything because as long as we focus on doing tge will of the father our needs will be met. That is so awesome to know that he takes care of us and that his will is more important than our own.
