Jesus is the Prince of peace and is able to bring peace to us regardless of the circumstances. However since Jesus came multitudes have been strongly opposed to what Jesus is and for what He stands. He tells us in Luke 12:49-59 that He would divide because He is light and truth and those who reject Him will turn against those who believe in Him. We should not be surprised that there is opposition and division because He told us that it would come. We should make sure that people know that we stand with Jesus and be ready because in an hour when we think not He will come!
