Jesus lived for 30 years in sinless purity before He did one work of power. His life goal was not to do great works but to please God with a surrendered life. Likewise, our highest goal should not be to become powerful but to walk holy in the overflow of Christ’s presence. God promises to empower those He first makes holy.
