Jesus prayed that we would be sanctified [set apart ]from the world through the truth, the reason many are still living like the world is because they want hear, and do what the word teaches, instead they try to change the, or twist it to fit their opinion. Daily Bible Scripture 10/25/2014 John 17:14-20 14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. 20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; How long should man keep the word of God? To the end. Can man change the word of God? No; man would like to change it, as many have tried to do and are still trying to do, but when the stars, sun, moon, heaven and earth are passed away Gods word will still be the truth. KJV Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. KJV Psalms 119:33-35 33 Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. 34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. 35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight. The word of God is already settle and will be there when we get there. Psalms 119:89 89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
