Jesus prayers for Peter..."Simon, Simon, satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers." Luke 22:31,32. This is interesting... This trial or test which lead Peter to be real with Himself and real about his motives by what followed.... PETER found himself denying even knowing Jesus, after saying he would never deny Jesus. And as Jesus prayed....Peter still encourages today thru the written word of the Lord.
