Jesus replied, “Go back and report to John what you HEAR and SEE - For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear - Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by giving heed to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons - Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me -Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.. But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water - You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming - However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth? -Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position - But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen - To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore!
