Jesus said, I am The Good Shepherd. I know my own and my own know Me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father. And I lay down my life for the sheep.. -John 10:14-15. This is my prayer... Dear lord I know that when Im distant and away from You, You always come and get me. Like a loving father watching over his children, You gently pull me back in the right direction to keep me from trouble. Sometimes I choose not to listen, and get into trouble because of it. God you always turn my attention back to You and the path you have set before me. Dear Lord be with my children in my absence for my love for them is as the love You have for me. Teach me to trust in You, Lord, and to leave my future in your capable hands whether it is what I think it should be or not, I know that You are in control. My future is filled with hope, and I thank You for being my Guardian and my Heavenly Father. Amen
