Jesus says, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can - TopicsExpress

Jesus says, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through me. and from those words, Me and my house choose to serve the Lord via the direction above. What my house does not do is condemn or persecute those who do not believe the same. In fact, my faith teaches that we pray for those that are persecuted. My faith and many of my faith based moral positions offend some. Thats ok too. I could be wrong. I am just trying to figure it all out. In fact many of my beliefs or practices may be founded by the Dogma you refute. However, my goal is not to perpetuate religion or Dogma, but to create a one on one relationship with the Way, the Truth and the Life. That is who I am accountable too. And I have a lot of work to do. I dont pretend to be perfect nor do I consider myself Holy-er than you. Im just trying to do better, for perfection is only available through Christ and the moment I believe I have attained it, I find myself further and further away from it! Perhaps your dogma is ideological, tradition or just stubbornness. Reflect on your imperfections as I am mine. We all have work to do on this front. DONT AGREE WITH ME! Lord knows I dont agree with many of the things the holier than thou religious do the way Christ abhorred the Sanhedrin and ultimately died at their hands. Please find a relationship with God. What is going on in the world today, is similar to that we have seen in years past. We just forget that atrocities today are often over people gone to extremes over power, hate and/or money. If you are Muslim, pray. If you are Jewish, pray. If you are Christian, pray. If you are Atheist, hmmn. I really dont know... but have compassion. There will be a day of Atonement, and if you believe that there is no after-life, than youll have no regret. Lights out, and its over. Congratulations! But as for me, in perceived naivete, I will continue to worship God and His amazing wonders. I know this, if I am wrong, and you are right, I wont regret it! But if I am right, and you are wrong, well, I am back to praying as Christ instructed me to do for you. I have an uneasy soul when I see/hear people chastising belief in God. I see a generation of kids that dont know simple parables that we used to hear EVEN IF WE DIDNT GO TO SUNDAY SCHOOL. I see awful things on Facebook, Internet, Twitter that prove that we have lost our moral compass that used to be based on a core belief that certain things were wrong, and others were right in the eyes of God. Now, generations with parents that are indifferent to faith have kids that have never heard a Commandment of THOU SHALT NOT... and as a result they do. And they do often... things that we would have known crossed the line. Even if we werent religious Thats my soap box. I dont want to convince you anything. I just keep thinking these things and am tired of feeling that someone might be offended if I said them. I am not ashamed. I am also not perfect. I pray that God continues to slap me when I screw up. Especially when I use words like Screw up Remember when that was a bad phrase. Back when we had morals and appropriate language? Those were good days... and yes it is silly that is the point of reference that I close with. Praying for you and many others around the world...
