Jesus tells them that this day this prophecy has been fulfilled, because, this day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. And all bare him witness, this day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. Lu 4:32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power. Lu 4:33 And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, Lu 4:34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God. Lu 4:35 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not. Lu 4:36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out. The unclean spirits knew who Jesus was, but Jesus did not need to know, or care what the man’s name was, but know the devil was in the man causing him to say the things that he said. Then Jesus showed His power by removing the evil spirit that was of the devil out of him. This was the great reason Jesus came down from heaven for to show the way of salvation through Him this is what we all call the Gospel of Jesus Christ.. Then by dying on the cross He fulfilled the will of God by destroying sin and death. This was all done to let who so ever believed on Him could be saved from His sins, and the Holy Spirit would come in dwell within whosoever believed on Him. That Spirit that each person receives is the Comforter that Jesus promised, and that is when we are baptized with the Holy Ghost that John told us we would receive when we repented of are sins, and put our trust through Faith on The Son of God Jesus Christ after His resurrection from the dead. Lu 6:17 And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases; Lu 6:18 And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. Lu 6:19 And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all. Lu 7:20 When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? Lu 7:21 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight. Lu 7:22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached. This verse is were John was asking to make sure if this was the one that was to be the forerunner of, and Jesus sent Him word what He was doing, and knew that John would know for certain it was Him. Lu 8:1 And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and showing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him, Lu 8:2 And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, Through out the scriptures in the four Gospels it tells of Jesus cleansing many people of unclean, evil spirits, healing, miracles and many more things. Then you most pay attention that there is more then one unclean spirit, and only one spirit from God and that Spirit is the Holy Ghost, or the Holy Spirit which no matter how it is mentioned it is the Spirit of God. There are only three that make up the trinity or the three that makes up the God head God the Father, the Word the Son of God, and the Comforter which is the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of God that we must have dwelling within us, and order to overcome the evil powers of the devil. Lu 8:27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs. Lu 8:28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not. Lu 8:29 (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.) Lu 8:30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.
