Jesus’ prayer life was the driving force in His life. We cannot expect to live in victory any other way. I am not saying that prayer meetings are non-essential. However, even though we are able to practice having prayer vigils every night, if our personal prayer life is lacking, something will be out of order and that will be an impediment to experiencing God’s power. Go to your Upper Room—your closet, bedroom, or any place— where you meet God in prayer. The most important thing to consider is that it be a place where you can meet God, alone. Amen?
