Jewish Family Service was thrilled to receive the Innovation Award at Feeding America San Diegos Nutrition Partner event today! The award recognizes the Hand Up Youth Food Pantry at JFS as one of the few pantries in San Diego that has prioritized client health and wellness by choosing to accept only healthy, nutrient-dense food donations. JFS CEO Michael Hopkins was also the lucky winner of a drawing for 500 lbs of nutrient-dense food - equivalent to almost 417 meals for families and individuals in our community! Thank you, Feeding America San Diego, for this honor and the generous donation. What a fantastic day for JFS!
