Jiah Khan’s mother Rabiya Khan has released the images of the dead body of her daughter to support her altered statement that Jiah was murdered. Her mother was till now adamant that Jiah committed suicide because of actor Suraj Pancholi, son of actor Aditya Pancholi and demanded his arrest. Jiah was supposedly dating Suraj and the two did not share a very healthy relation and according to the mother, this was the reason her daughter committed suicide. A week after Jiah Khan’s death in June this year, Suraj Pancholi was arrested on charges of abetting her suicide but was later granted bail by the high court in July. Sooraj is set to debut in Salman Khan’s next home production, ‘Hero’. (Read: Court rejects plea from the activists in Salman Khan’s hit and run case) But, Rabiya Khan has now filed a new petition in the Bombay High Court claiming that her daughter has been murdered. She has also demanded CBI inquiry and filed a fresh petition in the Bombay High Court. The investigation according to the mother was not done properly because of which the supposed murder of her daughter was portrayed as suicide. “Rabiya feels the investigation was not done properly. If you go by the medical opinion and other evidence, it would indicate something is missing as far as suicide is concerned. Jiah Khan’s case is apparently a case of murder,” Dinesh Tiwari, Rabiya Khan’s lawyer. According to the fresh petition which was filed on October 1, Rabiya Khan has put forward some ‘hidden facts’ about her daughter’s death. She has captured to the petition an independent forensic expert’s report which points out the case to be murderous death instead of a suicide. The belief of the mother said that she had all the important reasons to suspect that the probe was carried out by the police officials in such a manner that it looks like a ‘suicidal case’. Although, Rabiya Khan was the first one to release the suicide note written by Jiah Khan which clearly indicated that the ‘Nishab’ girl had already planned for her death. But the new forensic reports have turned the story upside down. While according to the police departments, 25 year old actress hung herself with a Muslim duppatta, Dr. RN Jerajani, Forensic Expert orated that the depth of the ligature marks in Jiah Khan’s incident was difficult to be achieved with such a soft material and was difficult to be found on a somebody’s body who would actually hang himself with the ceiling. Rabiya Khan’s petition also has some other points as well to support her supposition such as the CCTV footage camera recording. According to the CCTV footage reports, Jiah entered the house just few minutes before her suicide time and is seen wearing a track suit whereas she was found dead wearing a gown. According to Rabiya Khan, nobody would change the dress to actually commit suicide.
