Jim Evan’s - Grassroots campaign Team Are you anxious to do something meaningful to help Jim Evans beat Billy Long in the upcoming 2014 Election? One of our primary requirements is to grow. That means we’re going to use Facebook like it’s actually where we live in our community. We need to ask for new friends that live in the 7th district all of the time. Jim has created a “Friend Page” for all 10 counties in the 7th District. Any new friend should be sent and invitation to join the correct county’s “Friend Page.” (Note: you can google the city your friend lives in and Wikipedia will tell you the county that city is located in.) Initially, contact your friend using FB’s private message and let them know that you hope they will “Like” the “Friend Page.” Ask them to please comment on all posts and encourage them to share posts on their FB page. Commenting gives us an opportunity to Keep Jim’s name in front of the voters. Jim has provided us with his stance on the issues. We can use his position statements whenever possible. I usually do it like this – By Jim Evans: This becomes my subtle way of putting his name in front of people. A major part of any campaign plan should be getting the candidate’s name in front of the voters through repetition on a regular basis. By repeating exposure to the candidate’s name, the voters gradually become familiar with him and are much more likely to vote for the candidate on Election Day. It’s disgruntling to see 100 people looked at a post, 4 people liked it, and no one shared it. This means that we’re not taking advantage of our FB marketing strategy. The whole purpose of having everything set up is so that we have information and it gets out there so that others will see it. I frequently conduct conversations using FB’s private message. I ask people if they’re interested in volunteering, sponsoring a fund raiser, belong to any organizations, and more. The campaign needs us and we cannot afford to leave any stone unturned. That’s my opinion – anyway.
