Jim Ulmer, an Orangeburg GOP Executive Committeeman said that the resolution was presented and that the vote was “swift, resounding, bold, and unanimous.” Ulmer added that “the level of his (Graham’s) and his staff’s arrogance and lack of response witnessed by myself and many folks I have talked with over several years when trying to get him to represent us on many, many issues has been alarming, impressive, disturbing, and very disappointing. His loving the TV news cameras more than the people of his state would greatly disappoint the man (Strom Thurmond) who held the seat that he now sits in for basically a half-century before him.” Ulmer also added that Graham seems to refuse to hold any sort of open town hall meetings like those which Senator Tim Scott and Congressman Joe Wilson hold regularly. Instead he says that Graham hand picks groups of supporters to hold faux forums. Graham already faces three official primary candidates: Lee Bright, Richard Cash, and Nancy Mace, with another challenger, Bill Connor who may soon announce his candidacy. LOSE LINDSEY
